Anheuser-Busch had a pretty serious problem. Almost everyone knows how to pair wine with food. But when it comes to pairing food with beer, consumers feel lost. Food + Savor is a experience platform designed to show all levels of beer drinkers that pairing done right creates a heightened culinary experience.

By starting with on-trade experiences, ABI’s brand portfolio sales and key account ticket sizes dramatically increased, creating happy customers. The program continued to off-trade and beyond, making beer and food pairing a common practice. Introducing consumers to an easily adoptable and replicable language called “The Simple Complexities of Beer,” helped ground the program in a series of easy-to-understand rules and rituals, enabling beer to become a welcome member of any culinary occasion.
